The International Christian Braille Mission (ICBM) offers several ways to partner with its ministry, focused on providing Christian literature to the blind and visually impaired. You can get involved through prayer, volunteering your time, offering financial support, or expanding their network through connections. Prayer

The ICBM asks for prayers for God’s guidance as they carry out their mission to serve the blind community.

  • Connect with a blind person: If you know a blind individual who could benefit from their materials, you can contact ICBM to arrange for them to receive them.

Picture of Current President of ICBM Thomas Bleemel and Founder of ICBM Michael Smith. They are seated behind a display table at the International conference on Missions in Atlanta, Georgia in November 2025. On the Table are braille learning tools that Thomas made at home, along with a perkins brailler, some braille books, a print out of the braille alphabet, the dotted line newsletter, ICBM brochures and business cards. The braille Learning tool is a length of wood with 10 braille cells drilled into it and placed in these cells to represent dots are steel ball bearings. These ball bearings can be moved around the cells to practice braille letters and words. This is an interactive tool for sighted people to be able to spell their name or other words. These tools and using the perkins brailler for people to write their name in braille and be able to take it home draw people attention to the table which gives us the opportunity to share about the Outreach that ICBM does.
